a society that allows people to starve when there is food has failed. like. that’s it.
People arguing with this saying, “why do people deserve food for free???” is honestly just further proof of the failure.
There should be help for people who for whatever reason can’t provide for themselves. Food itself shouldn’t be free because there is a lot of labor involved in making it and the laborers deserve payment for their work.
People don’t deserve free food, they deserve respect and help to get back on their feet and into a place where they can provide for themselves or be taken care of if that’s impossible.
Anyone else only in their 20s but feel like they are running out of time to get their life together??
Don’t.
I felt this way too, in my twenties, but you know what?
I began transitioning at 30. I went back to grad school at 32. I’m living my best life, and while I’m a little behind the curve compared to some of my classmates on some things, I’m also so far ahead of them on others.
You need follow nobody’s schedule but your own.
Life is hard and the world isn’t doing any of us favors.
Be kind to yourself, and remember that you still have plenty of time. The only difference between starting now and 5 or 10 years earlier is now you have more experience.
“honestly, i don’t understand why Christians don’t practice their religion in a way that makes 100% sense to me? obviously me not understanding WHY is just proof that Christianity is the result of fantasy and ignorance. i, SmartMan of intelligence and open-mindedness, am CLEARLY the most civil.”
