At what point in Albus Dumbledore’s life did he just give up on fashion? Was it a slow downward spiral from “flawless vest & jacket combo” to “layers of sleeping attire”, or did he just wake up one day and go “fuck it, pants are the worst.” 

I’m not joking. Someone needs to explain this to me.
