I personally cover my hair (outside of Mass) for reasons of modesty, but I always mention that it is not a requirement for Christian women, nor is it done for modesty reasons when worn for church services. A very helpful breakdown of modesty and 1 Corinthians 11 from a Protestant’s perspective.
