I’m fairly certain tumblr made me a bitter person. I wasn’t like this before. I wasn’t this annoyed all the time. When I started posting a year and a half ago, I was so excited for everything, I was super happy to create and share, and so optimistic and happy, but now? I do not care. I do not care about notes, I do not care about fandoms I do not care about things I used to love with my whole heart.

I’m still receiving anons and messages from people telling me what should I do differently, what my headcanons should be, and how many things I am doing wrong. There’s people on this site who constantly walk around and tell people what they are allowed to enjoy like their opinion is a divine word. You know how many tags I had to unfollow because they were filled with people who have nothing better to do than hate and hate and hate?

And it got to me. When I started sharing my stuff here I just wanted to have fun and spread the love. And people on tumblr completely murdered it. This blog does not even make me happy anymore.

I decided to clean my blog, open a window, and smell a fresh air.

I changed my icon, chose different colours for my mobile app theme, and am looking for a new desktop theme. I blacklisted a bunch of tags, and unfollowed some people who were posting things that made me feel worse (that being character critical, politics and bitter rants almost every day). I emptied my inbox, got rid off all the drafts, and deleted everything from my blog except art, headcanons and some screens.

I would like this to be a second breath to me. Hopefully, I will be able to climb out of this hole of bitterness I fell into. Maybe I’ll even find my lost passion on the way.

This blog is supposed to be a positive place that focuses on all the love and good things fandoms can bring. That was the original idea and I want to bring it back. I can’t let tumblr and life beat my optimism into dirt. No way.
