Another Antifa Attack, Are They Really Anti-Fascist?

Antifa is at it again.  The group of leftist radicals fought fascism this time by sucker punching people and taking hammers to the windows of a Marine Corps office.  

So, is antifa actually anti-fascist?  Well, if you call physically attacking your political opponents while setting the city of Berkeley on fire and attacking innocents “anti-fascist,” then I guess they are.  Unfortunately though, that actually describes fascism, and that’s exactly what antifa is – fascist. 

Ever since they burst onto the scene in about 2015, they’ve made repeated appearances at Berkeley and at Trump rallies where they attack bystanders destroy property and require massive police presence.  When conservative commentator Ben Shapiro spoke at Berkeley in 2017, the city had to spend $600,000 on security bringing in hundreds of police officers.  And that wasn’t an overreaction either.  We saw what antifa does when there aren’t police.  In February 2017, when they protested an appearance from then relevant provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos.  They set buildings and vehicles on fire, bloodied Trump supporters, and caused a $100,000 in property damage.  And for what?  Were they protesting a fascist government takeover?  No, they were protesting one guy coming to talk.  

Sunday was a similar story.  They sucker-punched and bear-maced a guy who turned out to be a Democrat, and then they attacked a Marine Corps Recruiting Office.  Fun fact: they took hammers to the windows but couldn’t even break them.  When it was all said and done, 20 antifa members got arrested.  But rest assured, they’ll come back to protest fascism once again.
