I have a question I’m a female and I’ve met a guy who is a practicing Catholic like i am but i am but sure if it’s the lack of experience but anyways he’s asked me on a couple dates but has never really made his intentions clear. He did try to kiss me and he hold my hands. I talked to him and told I’m I don’t kiss my friends and holding hands should be reserved for two people who are in a committed relationship. How do I ask him in a nice way without sounding conceited what his feelings

It’s not important if you are kind, but if you are civil. “I need an answer: do you consider me a girlfriend? I only want to pursue what we have if you are interested in me romantically and want to see if this leads into something more serious.” Boo hoo if his feelings are hurt, because he should be mature enough to handle it and his response is not your responsibility.
