This isn’t aimed at racist fake fans, this is aimed at the people who want the Titans show to succeed. I’d say 90% of the negative reactions to the trailer is hate aimed at Anna/Starfire. If you want this show to succeed, you best be supporting it, because the racists are really trying to work to make this as hated as Ghostbusters 2016, and the two things the two have in common is a dark skinned Black woman as the lead.
Beast Boy is being portrayed by Ryan Potter, an Asian American actor, but I haven’t seen one single comment about Garfield in Titans being “inaccurately portrayed”.
Yea it’s almost like it isn’t a race thing and its just a shittt character design and bad casting.
I have nothing against the actress, just the costuming department. Her outfit looks hideous.
The CGI used on Beast Boy looks cheap, which again, is not the actor’s fault.
Raven comes off as some generic Hot Topic white girl who is nothing like the Raven I know from Teen Titans.
And Robin saying “Fuck Batman” while killing 6 people? You have the perfect Robin to be a massive “Fuck you, Dad” edgelord but you chose Dick Tracy? Really? I’m a filthy casual and even I know that’s something Dick would never say!
And Cyborg isn’t in the trailers at all! But hey, sure, the fans saying Star’s outfit looks bad are the real racists here, not the people who scrapped a black character from the team.
The curly hair on Starfire would be cute if it wasn’t a fucking cheap-ass wig. I don’t even know that much about Teen Titans but even I know that these characters look and act like shit.
It’s insane how one of the primary complaints about a show can be that it excludes a black man that should be in it and people will still call that racist.
Maybe Cyborg was in the trailer but they didnt make him black or a cyborg
