I would argue for Eminems “Stan” as a top 25 rap song of all time. In addition to it being an amazing song in general, the term “Stan” has been in circulation for over 15 years now and it seems like it’s here to stay.
Like, nobody says Fashizzle anymore. If you were talking to Bob from accounting and he casually slipped a “Fashizzle” into the conversation you’d want to punch him in his face for his pathetic attempt at niggertalk.
But if Bob casually called someone a Stan, yeah that shit is natural the word is legit real now.
Stan is so common place that most people don’t know where it comes from.
