Education systems suck.

Near the end of the year my grade gives out “awards” there just a giant roast session for the grade, and this being my senior year we held a senior dinner at the school. When we get the awards everyone made a speech that turned a roasted the school. One kid got the “know it all” award and I quote he said “ I’d like to thank the teachers for helping me get this because y’all didn’t teach jack so i had to do it myself”. I got the “Most dedicated” because I got hit by a car (didn’t break anything but boy was I hurting and bruised) on a wednesday and came back to school the next day. My speech was: “Id like to thank the school for this because of the dumb rule of if i miss an test i automatically get 10 points taken off and attendance being 20% of my grade in my math class”. I had a math test the day after the accident and that’s the only reason i showed up to school. The good outcome was that all my teachers besides the math one let me relax/nap the rest of the day and the home economics teacher made me cake pops.
