If you agree that the restaurant owner had the right to deny service to Sanders (which she did), then I don’t want to hear another word about that damn wedding cake.
I think it depends on whether gay people and people with certain political opinions can both be considered protected classes. Either way, I don’t think she should’ve been asked to leave.
I think it’s business suicide given the power of the Trump supporter boycotts, but I also strongly believe that private businesses have the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. I would be a hypocrite if I defended one’s right and not the other.
