Literally what is the problem with villains looking like Nazis anyway? “Nazi imagery” has been used as filmmaker shorthand for “these are the bad guys” since the 40s. They’re fucking villains why is it bad if they act like Nazis?

uh guys. I love the song too but uh. maybe nazi hyenas aren’t the best look in the current climate and that’s why they cut it
they’re in a no win situation with this. if they keep it and use different imagery then everyone screams about how they changed it and now it sucks
there’s always the madness of king scar if they want to dip into the broadway songs. it was meant to be in the movie anyway and was cut
The hyenas are only “Nazi imagery“ insomuch as literally any movie that has an evil leader standing over legions of trained, marching soldiers is Nazi imagery. Let’s ban all the Star Wars movies too 🙄
