the chemicals released during sex literally serve to chemically and emotionally bond you with your partner, and hook up culture literally conditions your brain to associate the release of oxytocin during sex with the feelings of separation and loss once you part with your one-time partner, so the more casual sex you have the less enjoyable sex becomes because when you do find your spouse/significant other/person-who-put-a-ring-on-it, you won’t be able to chemically and emotionally bond with them through sex the same way you could when you first started having sex. because your brain is associating that chemical release with separation and loss.
tl;dr hook up culture is incredibly emotionally unhealthy (and that doesn’t even delve into how physically unhealthy it is as well)
I have literally never been more depressed and as much of an alcoholic as when I was engaging in hookup culture. I hate it and even if it’s hypocritical of me I always advocate against it. Even if it’s someone you’re dating and feel committed to. Don’t do it until y’all are married. That’s not me being prudish that’s genuine good health (and economics) right there.

Modesty is a virtue, but it does nothing to stop someone else from committing the sin of lust.
St. Maria Goretti was the poster girl for holiness when she was alive, super modest and charitable and all that jazz, but that didn’t stop porn-addicted Alessandro from trying to rape her.
Countless virgin martyrs, such as St. Agnes, were virtuous Christian women, but they were sexually assaulted for their faith and/or for choosing celibacy.
St. Dymphnia was killed for refusing to marry her unstable and incestuous father.
When modesty is discussed in Scripture, it is explained as an outward expression of inward holiness. When lust is discussed, it is explained as displaced sexual desire and attention to anyone who is not your spouse. When one subject is discussed, the other is not.
This is why people need to stop talking about how important it is for people – ESPECIALLY women – to dress in a way to prevent lust in men. That’s not how lust works. That’s not the function of modesty. A woman may act and/or dress in a way so as to purposely seduce someone, but dressing modestly in itself is not a defense mechanism to “protect” you from the lust of men. To say such a thing not only spits in the face of our spiritual sisters in Christ who were assaulted for their faith, but it also ignores the true purpose of modesty and the true seeds of lust. Covering up most of your figure and skin won’t stop someone from hiking up your skirt, or imagining what you might look like anyway.
There are many good reasons to practice modesty. Preventing lust is not one of them.
GUN SOCCER is one of Yoko Taro’s draft on game designing. He released it to demonstrate how to make a game design line-out and presentation slides. Even though it looks like a joke, this game draft is also a part of Yoko Taro’s Drakengard and NieR world.
The event took place on 2024, filling the gap between Drakengard and NieR’s Old World Information. After the White Chlorination Syndrome spreads on 2004, a series of disease has been discovered endangering human. Creatures called Legion started to appear and try to wipe out the humanity. The battle of Legion and Human occurred for years. And on 2023, the world falls into a financial crisis because of the war and Project Gestalt.
By 2024, conflicts between ethnic and countries start to took place. The United Nations, which look at the situation seriously, proposed a method to resolves conflicts. GUN SOCCER is a survival sport competition combining the concept of Soccer and Gun Shooter (FPS). The proposal carried on by UN, and many countries started to participate.
Who will survive on this deadly game? What is the UN’s real intention of creating this game? Will this game eventually helps UN on saving the humanity?
