It is perfectly reasonable expect someone who allegedly hates some aspect of society to do everything they can to avoid participating in that aspect.

For instance, if you are a fucking commie then it is understandable that you need to purchase food.

But an iPhone? Brand name clothing?

Apple products are sold primarily on prestige alone. 

They’re the epitome of the negative side of capitalism, which is the production of products sold on vacuous and irrelevant qualities that add nothing to their intended purpose. It’s like complaining over the price of branded products while there’s cheaper competing variety, but goddamn you just gotta have that kellogs branded cereal with your red labeled cokecola while typing on your latest iphone which you stood in line for hours to get on release day while still holding a perfectly good and up to date phone on your person.

The fact that the Bors comic is applied so uncritically while whining about people being uncritically minded about engaging in the market is rather hilariously hypocritical.
