Opinion: Christian artists don’t have to make songs about God, the church, their relationship with Christ, or topics relating to the aforementioned in order to be considered a Christian artist. A Christian artist should be able to make songs like Reliant K’s “Pink Tux to the Prom” or Plumb’s “Cut.”
Opinion to add: Christian artists of any kind would be a lot better if they didn’t try so hard to force Christian themes into everything they create and instead simply tried to make good things
