i heard u guys like carpeted bathrooms so i made a whole post of carpeted bathrooms.

i had clients suggest having carpet in their Master Bath in this year of our lord 2018 & it was The Worst

Carpet in a bathroom is the worst idea ever. Sure, it may sound cozy but in reality water gets everywhere because toilets overflow and water can splash out of showers and what you (I’m guessing) thought was going to be a soft and warm place to put your feet is actually a cold and soggy mess. Plus over time the water weakens the floor if you don’t have any waterproofing layers and makes it actually dangerous. Oh, and speaking of the toilet? Remember that bathrooms are messy places. Guess what happens if you have kids running around or you get really sick and don’t make it to the toilet? Carpets stain. And you can’t sweep a carpet either – you have to lock yourself in the bathroom with your vacuum cleaner trying to vacuum a soggy carpet in what’s usually a futile effort anyway and the whole time you’re wondering what the heck was wrong with the people who built your house and why they ever thought this was a good idea.

Just. Don’t do it. Save yourself.
