How are you going to handle Santa Claus with your daughter when she’s older?

Me and my husband didnt grow up ever believing in the magical santa claus of yore so we arent planning on investing or teaching any of that crap. (I was also terrified of santa when I was a kid, like tons of nightmares and stuff, so my parents didnt ever push santa at all)

She’s going to learn about the saint and we might celebrate his feast day, but apart from that, Christmas has always been celebrated in both our families as solely about Jesus and that’s how we plan on raising her!

Plus why would I spend money and a ton of effort buying my daughter a bunch of lovely gifts and then give all the credit to a man whose name shares all the same letters as Satan
