this guy would survive in movies

girl i hope you appreciate your boyfriend. he just stood practically on top of a horror movie monster so you could get out of the elevator first. he loves you.

are we going to ignore the actress who got kicked in the face

well thats the price you pay for fucking terrifying someone

This whole post is GOLD

The girl deserved to be kicked in the face tbh.

Hey maybe don’t kick actors for scaring you. I don’t know the exact circumcise here but that’s still a major dick move.

From the look of things, this was one of those ‘scare random people on the street’ type deals. These people didn’t sign up to be frightened, they didn’t agree or pay for or want this experience. This was a random, traditionally scary, thing being presented to random people.

And sometimes random people’s instincts, when frightened or feeling threatened is to get away. And to get away means to incapacitate.

Notice, he knocked down and held down so they could run. This wasn’t a beating, this was a “OH SHIT! INCAPACITATE AND RUN!” thing born of humans innate ‘fight, flight or freeze’ instinct.

If you decide you’re going to frighten random people on the street, then some of them are going to fight back. If you’re going to trap people in a lift (elevator) with something scary for a short period with no way out, some of them are going to fight back. Some are going to freak the hell out and maybe hurt themselves instead.

Basically, unless this was heavily planned (unlikely) then the actor is actually the one at fault here and the dude, although a little violent, was entirely in the right to protect himself, which is what he thought he was doing.

Don’t prank random people with horror themed pranks if you’re not willing to accept possibly getting decked.
