Tumblr is literally as bad as the most conservative Southern church when it comes to understanding bisexuality. Suggest to them that it’s possible to love people of both genders and even in slightly different ways and their brains explode. Mercury may have sexually preferred men but he was deeply, emotionally in love with a woman too.
I feel like it’s worth noting Freddie also dated a couple more women after he “came out” to those close to him- he dated a German lady for a little while and there were rumors he was with an actress. That, along with him saying Ms. Austin was his best friend, the love of his life, his “common law wife, as far as I’m concerned,” makes me genuinely baffled people STILL deny him being bisexual.
