You know how the seven deadly sins often appear in fiction? Like in Fullmetal Alchemist and The Seven Deadly Sins and Keys To The Kingdom? And how in contrast the seven heavenly virtues aren’t represented in fiction much?
WELL
One time I had this idea where the seven deadly sins were plaguing this fantasy land, and people representing the seven virtues were sent out to wipe out each sin. The thing was that the seven heavenly virtues were represented by people you wouldn’t immediately think could represent them. Chastity was represented by a husband and wife(although now I’m thinking just the husband would work as well). Charity was represented by a rich banker. Humility was represented by a king, the leader of the virtues, as pride is thought to be the deadliest of the sins and the origin of each.
Only the opposite of each sin could eradicate the deadly sin completely, however determining where a particular sin was manifesting was pretty hard as the sins were to be found in places one least expected them to be.
The part I wasn’t confident about including was that if the virtue found the deadly sin that wasn’t the opposite of them, they could eradicate this deadly sin by choosing to be tempted by it for the rest of their life, locked in an unceasing internal battle til death.

However I am going to have to find the time, motivation, and energy to write this someday, and they’re scarce found together.
