The best resource I’ve seen for answering this question is AbortionProcedures.com. The videos feature Dr. Anthony Levatino, an OB/GYN and former abortionist who performed over 1,200 abortions, describing each method in a clear, easy to understand manner, using medical diagrams and illustrations as well is showing some of the tools that are used.
The site also has an interview with him where he explains why he stopped performing abortions and other things he thinks people should know about abortion.
