Pros of Detective Pikachu: Manages to be really fun and entertaining, great Pokemon designs that integrate them into the real world surprisingly well, doesn’t try to be edgy or dark, feels like it takes place in the Pokemon universe and not just a transplanted take on “our” world with Pokemon, showing Pokemon from different Generations and some less popular Pokemon proving it’s not just a cash-grab for the moneymakers and Gen-Wunners.
Cons of Detective Pikachu: Gave me an extreme urge to cuddle what is basically Ryan Reynold’s fursona.
