I would rather that giving away unused food would be an option rather than obligatory, but I’m interested to see how this plays out.

first it was banned and now it’s mandatory. why can’t there ever be a choice in this matter.

Yeah I would rather it just not be illegal to give away leftovers, not for it to be mandatory
