I just realized that Rick Dicker, who’s entire job is to help the Parr’s stay under the radar as heroes, totally knows that Jack Jack has superpowers because the babysitter Kari told him at the end of the last movie. Yet he didn’t clue Bob or Helen so that they might be aware that their baby could spontaneously combust at any moment? Seems like that might throw a wrench in the whole “keeping things under wraps” idea. At the very least that could’ve given Edna a headstart in developing the device that would help them control Jack-Jack’s powers.
