Okay so.

When one comes to comic books, you know damn well that someone trying to be a critic or even a journalist about comic books will not have a clue as to what they’ll be talking about if all they ever read is popular fiction novels.

Just as you can tell that if someone wouldn’t have a clue what they’re talking about as a literary critic if they never read anything but comic books, and just tackle novels as a sufferage for their job.

So tell me, oh please tell me, why the fuck is it somehow offensive to point out that this dichotomy might just apply when it comes to journalism about video games?
