Honestly anybody who thinks photographers and artists are just being greedy when they actually charge something for their work don’t know very much about the craft. I mean obviously there are exceptions but take a professional photographer for example: if you want an hour long shoot at a certain location that person has to pack up probably thousands of dollars of equipment and travel to that location, take hundreds of shots in various positions, adjust for lighting and shade, look at lots of proofs, then go back sort through all that and edit the pictures to perfection. That shit takes time and effort. More than $250 worth of time and effort. I mean if you want cheap you can go to JCPenney or some shit but it’s not ridiculous for professional photographers to ask at least $300 for their services.
