Y’all hear “my bf/gf won’t let me” and immediately jump to “IT’S ABUSE” which is just absurd

Idk I just kind of assumed that post was obviously about abusive scenarios. Yeah of course “bf/gf won’t let me do this silly thing” is innocuous, but I had every impression that post was more referring more to stuff like “My bf/gf won’t let me talk to that person/go to that place/see my family when I want” etc.
