First of all, you haven’t read Marx.  Second of all, I assume you accept Karl Marx’s definition of socialism:  that government’s owning everything and forcing everyone to become communist – which wasn’t how he wanted BUT did in fact conceed that that might be the only way.  

Republican platform would be a deck off to the right pretending to be built on Thomas Jefferson’s head but unable to keep TJ under their platform or get Marx to stand next to TJ.

First off, I have read many of Marx’s works, cover to cover.

Second, sure, if by “accept” you mean I acknowledge what his interpretation of scientific socialism was and his revolutionary method of achieving social economic change.  However, this cartoon is not literally stating the Democratic Party is embracing a literal interpretation of Marxist doctrine, but rather a platform built from the foundation of Marxism – equally dumb socioeconomic gibberish such as “democratic socialism,” for example.

And analogies are clearly not your strong suit.
