Kids often don’t understand why their parents or other adults have certain rules in place for their safety or why they should obey them, but it’s a good thing those rules are there and they’re better off for them.

Similarly, we often don’t know why God has certain rules in place for us, but His rules are always for our good and our safety. We have to trust Him, He’s a good Father.

And as kids, they often (but not always) we very quickly find out the reason for those rules when they disobey them.

We don’t always find out the reason for God’s rules quickly, but when we DO find out…. hoo boy…
