Trains are cool. They’re also unprofitable as fuck. The only reason they function elsewhere is because the government props them up.

^^^ I just took an amtrak this week, we often had to pull over for the much faster freight trains. It would actually be more environmentally friendly if we used existing train lines to ship good large distances instead of trucks.
