I think I found out the model for Gordan Ramsay attitudes:

Hell’s Kitchen: The prize is a job working in a restaurant he owns and has his name all over it. Failure of any kind during the competition implies they will fail while working for him, thus his reputation is on the line. Rage incarnate.

Kitchen Nightmares/Hotel Hell: These people asked for help in turning their businesses around. News will say he helped turn these businesses around, even when some refuse the help he tries to give. Frustration as he expects better, but personal stakes are lessened, so very few outbursts of pure rage.

Master Chef: The Coach ™ of the three judges, gives constructive criticisms. Not a teddy bear like Graham and pure rage has been handed over to Joe. Next to zero outbursts as his reputation is on the line even less then above.

Master Chef Junior: Literally teaching children. Remembers what it was like being them. Pep talks galore.
