MatPat has become one of those clickbait journalists. This isn’t creative either. He did the same shit 5 years ago when he called Mario a sociopath.
He’s done it so many times you could practically script the video for him at this point. Mario is a sociopath. Phoenix Wright is a criminal. Spiderman is really a bad guy. To date the most hilarious video I’ve ever seen is the one where Quinton Reviews did a FT parody that is almost completely indistinguishable from a real episode
It’s either that or he covers a “theory” completely ripped from a BuzzFeed article or Reddit thread from years ago. I miss when he actually did the science of game mechanics or historical/realistic parallels in games.
