By the way, Austin has been under a boil water notice for 6 days now.

It’s an inconvenience for most of us, but for those who didn’t have reliable access to water in the first place and for small businesses who need clean water to operate, it’s been excruciating. Please keep them in your prayers.

Thankfully, we’ve had plenty of people step up to help. People donated water bottles to schools, businesses who had access to clean water sent it to small business owners who didn’t, and two nearby cities sent large water trucks to help animal shelters and those who couldn’t boil their own water.

Austin Water is hopeful that the notice can be lifted Sunday, but they’ve made no guarantees.
