Therefore they adhere to the rule of thumb of “anyone that doesn’t believe as I do must therefore be a Nazi,” thus justifying violently attacking just about anyone you choose. That’s because you are mentally deranged fascist maniacs. You are doing precisely what the blackshirts did in Italy and what the brownshirts did in Germany. The same mantra, the same logic. You are just too dumb to know any better. Thus history repeats itself.
And for the record, no, the right does not go around punching people in the face, nor do they march in the street singing Woody Guthrie songs and scream old union chants from the progressive era. The right in this country wakes up every day, shovels down their breakfast, and goes to work in order to keep both the private and public sector afloat in this country. For example, we don’t know enough about the motives of the Mandalay Bay shooter to know what his political beliefs were. That game is not going to work here. If you just bothered to take the time to just look at a handful of the claims individually you’ll notice that there is not even evidence that a particular group was responsible but rather that they were merely alleged to be the culprit. I’m willing to concede that there are certain ideologically driven attacks – which brings me to my second point below– but you must take each of these cases one by one to determine whether the crime/attack was politically motivated or not. Many of the times it is not. Take the ADL’s 2017 report in which it cites an abnormal amount of “right-wing extremist murders. Let’s just look at a few listed examples:
“GREELEY, COLORADO, AUGUST 16, 2017. Kelly Raisley, believed to be a member or
associate of the 211 Crew white supremacist gang, was arrested on first-degree murder
charges for the murder of his uncle, Randy Gene Baker. Baker’s wife and sister were similarly
arrested. The motive was apparently personal.” The actual story was that a white supremacist killed his white uncle because his aunt got him to do it for her because she was having an affair, and somehow it ended up the lists of ideologically driven attacks.
Or take this spurious account: “PUTNAM COUNTY GEORGIA, JUNE 13, 2017. Ricky Dubose, a member of the Ghostface
Gangsters white supremacist prison gang, and another inmate, Donnie Russell Rowe,
reportedly killed two corrections officers while trying to escape from a prison bus. They were
later recaptured
” This was not ideologically driven. These two inmates killed a white and black guard while escaping. The point that they were in a white supremacist gang is completely inconsequential to their motive.
And my personal favorite:
“TAMPA, FLORIDA, MAY 19, 2017. White supremacist Devon Arthurs allegedly shot to death
two of his roommates for making fun of his recent conversion to Islam. All three, and a fourth
roommate, were members of Atomwaffen, a neo-Nazi group.” Did you catch that? One of the neo-Nazi killed the other neo-Nazis because they made fun of him for becoming a Muslim. The real story is that these kids were all insane and founded their little neo-Nazi gang and may have done something quite worse if they had not self-destructed.
And they do the same for some of the other listings, even for the black nationalists who’s story has nothing to do with black nationalism at all. It is just a coincidence that he was one. So, really the report is just bad.
Secondly, fascists, Nazis, and alt-right identitarians are all big government statists just like you. So, trying to also throw all the white supremacists, white extremists, neo-Nazis, anti-Muslim extremists, etc into the “rightist” bucket is also erroneous. This is what partially makes the ADL’s report so flawed. They make assumptions that black nationalists are somehow different ideologically from white nationalists. You would think anyone could clearly see plain as day that both ideologies are based on race and nationalism.
But the ideological spectrum of right vs left is so ingrained in modern perception that it is not even second guessed anymore – white racists are on on the right for some reason and commies and minorities are sorted on the left. Why? Who knows? Where does that leave all the classical liberals, libertarians, limited-government conservatives, anarcho-capitalists, etc? Oh, they get thrown in with the white racists’ category I suppose.

Like I said, leftists do not even know who their enemy is, so anyone and everyone that does not believe as they do are either fascists or sympathizers that “must be stopped” – sometimes violently.
