I scanned your recent abortion related post, and there’s something that caught my eye. You mentioned C sections as an alternative to abortion. Is this a viable option? I’m curious to see if there’s a solution to the unplanned pregnancy that keeps the child alive, and doesn’t force the mother to care for a child she isn’t ready to have yet. Could C sections be used in place of abortions? -A pro-choice guy eager for a perfect solution to this debate.

patron-saint-of-smart-asses:

C-sections would be a way to birth the child in scenerios where it is too dangerous or risky for the mother to birth vaginally, such as a very young minor being pregnant, or with conditions such as placenta previa. Having a c-section would not affect whether the mother chooses to place the baby for adoption or raise him/her herself.

An end to the abortion debate would be for people to recognize the humanity of the unborn and that doing such a thing in no way shape or form is a threat to women’s rights.
