I am honest to goodness sick of these “traditional femininity” pages that make a mocker of both women and the faith. They tear down harmless habits and aesthetics because it doesn’t fit their secular ideas about religion and preach it as gospel.
Long hair, flowing skirts, and pastel colors won’t make you less of a vindictive viper. Maybe spend less time cosplaying as a 1950s fundamentalist and you’ll get somewhere in authentically touching souls in Christ Jesus.

And on the other end of the stick, preferring “traditional” styles and habits doesn’t invalidate someone’s status as a feminist, provided they aren’t insisting everyone else should do the same
Similarly frustrating situation on the men’s side; the number of BDSM or other generally pornographic blogs masquerading as “traditional masculinity” blogs is pretty disconcerting. There is nothing traditional or masculine about abusing and objectifying the woman you purport to love, infantilizing them, and leading them and others into grave sin. I am finding that a large percentage of the “men” on the “trad” side of tumblr are either porn addicts, NAZIs, abusers, or generally lost to some sort of control-related fantasy that bears no resemblance to reality.
Say a prayer for the men, if you can. So so many of them are truly lost and in need of divine help to remember who they truly are and to recall the goodness buried deep in their polluted souls.

Yes! Also, can we take a step back to critically analyze why it might be that all of these men who are both usually imperialists and have control issues (and bdsm/porn issues) are so vehemently Trad? What is it about traditional teachings that enables their behaviour and politics to flourish as such? Is nobody going to question this at all? Because I feel like it never is
Because evil takes what is good and perverts it into its own twisted version to suit its needs
