Concept: A character says something that sounds eerily like ominous foreshadowing to something tragic (e.g. “Promise me you won’t die,” or something) and suddenly the entire audience worries now that someone is definitely, 100% going to die.

Except they never do. We get to see a lot of near-misses that could have led to a Bad Time but it never actually comes to pass, just enough to keep everyone scared the whole time.
