Anyway, most if not all veterans were/are poor and were recruited because the government knew they were desperate for a chance at free college. If you shit on veterans congrats, you’re a classist piece of shit.

My great grandpa joined the marines at age 15 after he got kicked out of the house because his family was too poor to take care of him. He also fought in WW2, the Korean war, and Vietnam to support his family of 9.

My dad had to quit school and join the army to support his family after his dad ran off with another woman.

My mom came from a large lower class family and joined the air force after she graduated because she felt like she had nowhere else to go.

My great grandpa had ptsd and talked about some of the shit he witnessed. He was an officer during the Korean war and some of his medics went out of their way to aid a village that had been under communist control. They gave them medicine, treated wounds, and saved lives. You know how those brainwashed communist villagers thanked them after all that? They butchered the medics and defiled the corpses because the opposing army convinced them to.

Veterans like my grandpa and those medics don’t deserve to be spat on by sheltered shits like op. If it weren’t for people like them South Korea would have never existed, instead all of Korea would have ended up being ruled by the Kim dynasty.
