I want to make a note to my fellow Christians:

Christianity cannot mix with other religions.  Not all religions lead to God.  Christianity is exclusive, and if it’s true, then the other religions are false.  If the other religions are true, then it is false.  These are the only two options and there is no middle ground.

Reading your Bible isn’t only important for your spiritual life but for your defense.  There are many sites out there that can trip you up with their mixing of religion and if you don’t know your stuff, it can be very convincing.

Remember: Christianity cannot coexist with other religious beliefs.

Everyone can coexist with everyone if you wish to. I may be christen myself, but I cannot ever support an idea of out worldly telling others there dead wrong about religion just cause of my own beliefs. when at the end of the day? None of us actually know the truth. Have you ever died? Of corse not. So, can we know what is true and isn’t about religion? It is all mearly our own interpretation. As long as the word and meaning of gods intentions are preserved in the message, who cares what banner it flys under?

I think op is more or less talking about mixing Christianity itself with other religions. Like how King Solomon pissed God off when he started worshipping pagan deities on the side. The Lord a very jealous God and having other idols is heresy in his eyes.

That being said, I disagree that we as Christians shouldn’t belive our God is the only true God since that is what the Bible says. However you are correct about Christians being able to live along side people of different faiths peacefully.

The problem with shutting down people who believe in a mix of different religions, is simply, if we start denying them there right to worship a god they believe in, does that mean we must ban others from believing in the god they believe to be true? Once we start silencing the voices of all those we deem unworthy, that is when tyranny and cultism starts. I will admit I do not like the idea of someone worshiping a chair and calling it’s god, however..if they are an upstanding citizen, who still follows every belief and moral say us Christians do, do we, as mortals, have the right to tell him he’s wrong? Can we destroy someone’s source of good will, and kind nature, purely because we see it as wrong?

Another thing, you seem to see god much differently then I do. I do not see god as some sort of petty idol, who would fret over there simply being other idols then he, god has a lot more important things to be doing then worrying if some 12 year old things justin biber is a god. If he was, we would have all be struck down the moment humanity created more then one religion of worship.

Lastly, you are completely welcome to believe our Christian god is the true god. You have every right to think so. But what I’m saying is, we must also open our minds to other possibility’s. As none of us truly do know what is truth and what is not, until we pass on to meet god himself. I’m not saying we should plant the seed of doubt in our mind about if what god says is true or not, rather, look to gods message, and from what Iv seen, there are plenty of religions who share many of the same morals and beliefs as other religions do, like Christianity. What I’m saying is, perhaps god has made those religions too. Or at least had a hand in forming them, after all, it’s humans who make religion. God just does his best to show us the right path, it is up to us to choose to listen. Nothing is certain in life. So what I’m saying is, I don’t believe every word of every other religion besides my own is wrong or made up by man. God can take many shapes after all, who’s to say he hasn’t taken form to help other civilizations in the form of other religions is all.

You’re right about it being wrong to shut people down or harass them for thinking differently. However mortals like us do not dictate who God is. Interpretations are irrelevant since he is a real being and thus should be treated as such. The Bible is his word so whatever it says goes and if it states that he hates other idols then there is no room for argument.

That being said, I appreciate that you are being honest with me. These kind of debates can get heated but I find that they are important and eye opening. I hope Im not coming off as sounding holier than thou. Just understand that there are things I simply can’t sugar coat.
