No , Religious characters must never get Character development , They must stay the same , and never have the thought of changing even cross their mind 

Or maybe the fact that they’re religious shouldn’t always be treated as a character flaw

Or something immature that needs to be “grown out of” to grow af a person. 9_9

Especially when an atheist character who ends up embracing religion is often seen as preachy and cringeworthy.
