and like frozen just has such mediocre animation like holy balls. and i would find it excusable if it was a lesser studio but man this is DISNEY
like, this is a background from the book of life which was from a tiny studio thats only made one animated film before and had a budget of 50 million
this is the inside of elsa’s ice castle from disney, the most famous animation house ever with the best talent, with a budget of 150 million
Apples and Oranges…there are scenes in Frozen with far more impressive animation than this. You can’t take a beautiful scene from one movie, put it next to a purposely dull one from another, and say the 2nd movie’s animation sucks. Book of Life and Frozen are both incredible films, why are people trying to fight over them? It’s just immature!
wow it’s almost like elsa’s castle was specifically designed to be cold and vast and stark and empty and the land of the remembered was specifically designed to be bright and busy and colourful and cluttered
regardless of how you feel about frozen’s story or popularity, that’s no reason to shit on the hard work that the animators, artists, etc killed themselves to produce. it’s so easy for a good chunk of you to just sit there not having to do anything, being snobby obnoxious critics because its cool to hate on kids/family-focused films. hating on popular things doesn’t make you a cool or interesting person, sorry to tell you.
