The rifle equivalent of pistol whipping is called butt stroking.

No it’s not. I don’t know what it would be, but butt stroking is where you slam the end of the butt down on the ground in a lateral downward motion, so that gravity and momentum can repeat the action on a stuck semi-auto weapon.
Mostly done with shotguns in shoot tournaments.
And i don’t know what the equivalent of that would be to a pistol.
