The main reason I even talk about my opinions on things like this is because often people have never even considered something like that because they’ve never heard anyone advocate for it.

Like for me, I was never raised with the mindset that I should save sex for marriage. I was only told just don’t sleep with someone you’re not serious about.

It wasn’t until I was 20 years old and happened to be listening to Louder With Crowder in my dorm room that the idea first crossed my mind. He mentioned that he and his wife waited, and why, and it really changed my whole outlook because prior to that I didn’t even know it was a thing anyone was still doing. I had never even considered it.

From that point I’ve seen ample secular and theological reasons to be in favor of it, but I never would have even thought to look if not for hearing someone else talk about it.
