I understand that perfectly, especially since I am in NFP groups where some couples are strictly TTA for that reason. My problem is when a person is disabled and tries for kids and is shamed for bringing in people with their condition.
On the subject of certain disabled people not wanting bio-kids: I can confirm that (for me) it’s not about “people like me should’t exist”, but considering the pain I went to growing up, I’d have a hard time conciously bringing someone into this world knowing they will suffer (i mean there’s always a risk your kid wil suffer but it’s about knowing how theyll suffer before they are even conceived). That being said if I do ever “fall pregnant” I will raise and love that kid!!
