Grenfell Towers was a tragic accident caused by property mismanagement by the largest local government monopolized management firms in London.  It was constructed and renovated according to government regulations and standards.  Furthermore, despite numerous calls for safety concerns, the government failed to take any action.  It’s probably the dumbest example you could have referenced that really had nothing to do with private contractors using substandard materials or labor.
