Hey guys! I know I’ve been absent recently, I took on a huge project at work that I am very excited about, but has been taking up aaaallll of my free time. I’m also working on a big personal painting that you guys will see soon. I managed to squeeze in a trip to the San Diego Zoo over the weekend (my hands definitely needed a break!) and caught some awesome pics of this jaguar eating. Enjoy! See ya guys soon!

@devinellephoto@tamberella Not to be that person, but I think you might have mistagged this photo. This looks very much like a leopard to me, particularly an Amur leopard (which I know the San Diego Zoo has)
For comparison:
Amur leopard
Jaguar
Just so you’re aware! 🙂 Jaguars tend to be larger and more powerfully built, with spots inside some of their rosette spots. Amur leopards in particular have longer fur than other subspecies of leopards, and like all leopards, tend to be smaller and less stocky than jaguars and lack the spots within their rosettes.
These are some gorgeous photos! Looks like they’re having a treat! ❤
You’re totally right, I must be a lot more exhausted than I think because I have spent literally hours comparing these animals 😂😂😂 I think it’s time for me to sleep
